Busby SEO Challenge - Blog With No Name

Nah, the hack is not related to Isulong SEOPh. LOLz, just typing the words in there.

For some reason, my theme does not work. I thought it might be an .htaccess hack redirecting my CSS File. I checked the .htaccess and it’s cool.

But you can see I changed Kubrick. And went to WP classic. I changed the theme and the classic theme works. I deleted and recreated the .htaccess file. Problem with there, thus it is not about the .htaccess.

I cannot even visit the .htaccess file manually. So definitely, it is something on file redirection. If this was not done on the .htaccess, there where was it done? Was the httpd.conf hacked? I don’t think so.

Although the css file is drawn from a PHP function, I think that rules out the rule since I cannot visit the css file manually.

But this is not on my server, if ever something bad is happening and I am under attack, sorry Mike. LOLz.

I have had three people tell me yesterday that I did a good job in making the ranking high for this site. They said I came out in the top 3. Duh? I do not see it yet, when searching for Isulong SEOPh. And I started asking other people in the Philippines, they do not see it too.

What I see is:

• Page 3 ranking on google.com.ph
• Page 2 ranking on google.com
• After going through 69 datacenters, all showed me on page 1 at number 10. And only 1 datacenter showed me at number 3. Same as what was observed by 3 other people that told me about it.

One thing nice about the one with the ranking 3 is the SERPs were 500,000+ while the others were 300,000+. But even if I did ever datacenter IP address I know, which were all at 10th place, when searching on google.com and google.com.ph, it still showed me at page 2 and page 3 respectively for Isulong SEOPh. And with a IP detector I use, whenever accessing google.com or google.com.ph, it serves up 3 IP addresses.

I’ve been off the Isulong race for 3 days. waaaahhh :((

I can’t work on it since many clients may get mad already.

I have a lot of plans of things to do, but can’t implement them, they are just plans. LOLz.

So what am I doing now? Nothing… My wife lost a cellphone I gave her. A Samsung phone, and there is no use for the charger. So I decided to take pictures of it and sell it on ebay.

I hope I finish these projects soon enough so I can catch up in the isulong race if it is not too late.

What is this telling me? It is more of a language issue than an indexing/datacenter issue. Looks like an algorithmic issue with linguistics which I do not know how to solve.

The only other things I can think of right now is…

1. My Domain Whois Info had a US address. I fixed that already and changed it to Philippines.
2. My IP is associated with to many US based websites? Well I changed servers, even if the server is also in the US, I believe more of the clients are associated with Filipino websites. I was considering getting a host with a Philippine based datacenter, but looking at some of the current leaders, their servers are also based in the US. So maybe this is not the real issue.
3. Majority of the time this website is accessed is by me where I maintain the site. I have Google Analytics too on the site and I guess Google knows that most of the accesses are coming from the US and not from the Philippines. What do I do? I find a proxy to use and access my site as if I am in the Philippines for maintenance purposes? Or I ask someone in the Philippines to access my site everyday. Whatever I do, I will try to minimize visiting the site myself so less US based IP host ISPs are accessing this site.

Ok, I am back at page two again in this Isulong SEOPh contest, and I still got pending projects. Distorbo talaga mga projects Isulong SEOPh contest LOL. I did some changes in the back end and some people noticed it already. They said my Isulong SEOPh website is forwarding to yourdomainserver.com.

I think I will avoid using Tagalog words because I think each tagalog word is not treated as a stop word and each word is an actual word indexed in this isulong SEOPh contest. And if stop words like and, the, is, at, this, are taken out, I do not think that is done with ang, atstaka, ito, iyan and are considered as actual words, thus decreasing the keyword density of Isulong Seoph. but then again, even if content is important, we all know linking is as equally important.

I wonder what I supposed to do with this other Isulong Seoph site?

hmmm, just barely hanging on the first page of Google.com for Isulong Seoph. Maybe tomorrow I’m going again on the first page.

But, how much Philippines do I need to prove that my site should do the same performance for Isulong SEOPh on www.google.com.ph?

I was thinking of calling up Bill Torres and see what Mozcon has to offer? Or Roger Chua for Web Philippines? Hmmm where is Arcy Canumay? Last time I talked to him, he was with iAyala. Netgazer’s server is in the Philippines. I already chatted with Migs and asked about Inter.net. Do I need to talk to PLDT? Bayantel? Sky Internet? Internet Manila? Ayaw ko sa Pacific Internet. Web Hosting Server nila nasa Singapore. sa .sg tataas ang ranking not in .ph for Isulong SEOPh.

ISULONG SEOPH!

Hoy Google, taga Philippines po ako ano. Isulong Seoph is in the Pilipins, ay mali. Philippines. If I’m on page one for the SERPs for Isulong SEOPh in Google.com, I should have relatively the same ranking on google.com.ph for Isulong SEOPh since 100% Philippine website ito.

Last week I was no where in the SERPs, today, page 1. Finally a page 1 result for this Isulong SEOPh contest. But this is still up to Sept. 29. And I know every contestant of this Isulong SEOPh SEO contest is working full time on this. We still never know, a winner may come from behind on page 20 and when his/her site get’s indexed it will sweep up all away.

The only advantage of the people I see right now on top, is a psychological advangate, killing the hopes of others. Which may make them lax and be lazy thinking “Nah, i can’t keep up with them anymore in this Isulong SEOPh contest, I give up.” But for some, they get challenged more to do better in the Isulong SEOPh contest.

As much as I want to work more on this Isulong SEOPh SEO Contest, I also have a day job as well as a full-time business and still trying to squeeze in that time to do well in this Isuolong SEOPh SEO Contest of SEO Philippines.

Total Datacenters I queried for Isulong SEOPh: 73 Isulong SEOPh queries.

Datacenters that were down after searching Isulong SEOPh: 3.

Number of datacenters that had me on page 1 for Isulong SEOPh: 29 entries I had for Isulong SEOPh. The rest I was either in page 2 or page 4 and some still on page 16 for Isulong SEOPh.

Number of datacenters that included my site isulongseoph.com in the top 5 for Isulong SEOPh: 23. 1 of them was ranked 5 for Isulong SEOPh, and the rest were all rank 4 for Isulong SEOPh.

Number of datacenters included me in the rank 6 to 10 for Isulong SEOPh: 5. 1 od them at position 7 and the rest at 6 for Isulong SEOPh.

Do I need to be happy? Well I do not know. 29 datacenters give me page 1, but that means 44 give place me not on page 1. Which ever is the final version, I do not know. But one reason to be happy is, many of the 44 datacenters give 99,000 pages. And the other 29 datacenters give 125,000 webpages in the SERPs for Isulong SEOPh.

But of course, any thing can still happen. Strong competition PR power backlinking, big blogs and forums, constant link building by others.

Corporate SEO for clients seems to be way easier than this contest. You are againts so many SEOs with strong PR power.

I dissapeared again in the competitive SERP position on my recent check. duh? Kasali din po ako sa Islulong Seoph, bakit pinapaalis ninyo ako, Nyhaahahhaaha. Isulong SEOPH!

I have been doing SEO with some SEO clients and I gave them quarterly reports and I check the SERPs on a monthly basis. I nevered looked at the SERPs everyday. And this Isulong SEOPh contest is what has pushed me to check the SERPs everyday!
