This Isulong SEOph SEO Contest is just getting harder and harder as I am still not on the first page. Do I still have the chance to get into the first page? I only have a few days left to catch up and I barely have the time to spam and jam. *LOL* But I am not losing hope. I will still try to go for it.

I was 10, 3 days ago for Isulong SEOph.

I became 7, 2 days ago for Isulong SEOph.

I then became 6 on the same day for Isulong SEOph.

And maintained the number 6 for another day for Isulong SEOph!

Then I drop to number 9 yesterday in Isulong SEOph

*LOL* This is so much fun. The Isulong SEOph rollercoaster ride!

This is not for this site of course. But for my other Isulong SEOph entry.

Google.com.ph from where I am is placing my other Isulong SEOph website as number 9. While Google.com.ph using a Philippine-based proxy showing me as number 6. The update date on Google.com.ph here from where I am is August 15, 2006. But the one on the Philippine proxy is August 14, 2006. I guess I need to wait a few more hours to really know if I am number 6 or number 9 today in this Isulong SEOph contest.

Just as expected as I mentioned in the previous post. isulong-seoph.com was on number 15, page 2, when the SERPs were 700k+, now the SERPs are up to 800k+ and isulong-seoph.com moves to rank 23.

Now I just hopme the SERPs are low again on Sept 29, 2006. The lower count seems to always be favorable to me.

Here is some of the everyday Isulong SEOph chat transcript I have. I included some translation as well for the international audience. *LOL* I added in some words as well in square brackets and retyped the abbreviated chat words into their actual word equivalent. I have translations for the Isulong SEOph chat in parenthesis.

Whin: Oo, hintayin ko bumaba. *LOL* (Yes, I am waiting for it to go down. *LOL*)

Benj: Yeah, baka pag 1 million na, nasa page 2 ulit ako. Nagpapage 1 lang naman ako pag bumababa [ang results.] Pag tumataas mga results bumabalik ako sa page 2. (Yeah, maybe when it is 1 million, I am back on page 2 again. I get on page 1 only when the results go down.)

Benj: Pero usually sa katapusan ng buwan, tumataas mga results. So sa Sept 29, baka mataas ang results tapos wala ako sa page 1 :(( waaaaaa (But usually at the end of the month, the results are high. So on Sept 29, maybe I won’t be on page 1. :(( waaaaaa)

Whin: Check natin sa August 28 kung ano result, kung magpareho sa dati. Mamaya naman [, at] tae lang ako. (Let’s check on August 28 what the results are, if it is the same as before. Later, ‘coz I need to shit.)

Benj: Kailangan ma convince ko si Google na karapat dapat ako sa pgae 1. (I need to convince Google that I really belong to page 1.)

Right now, I have a very persistent client, that wants to see results by the minute, right after he calls up on the phone or sends me a IM or email. Uses so much time, I host 200+ hosting clients and only about 5% of those have monthly inquiries, still manageable. But I also maintain a dedicated server going through all these changes that requires some amount of time. Oh well that is life. No much time for Isulong SEOph.

I already asked for a vacation from my day job so I can attend the Isulong SEOph awarding. Win or lose, I believe it will be fun and get to meet the various SEO personalities. Opportunity as well to get to be with my family again. I still cling to the 10th spot which is worth a P500 gift certificate from Bitstop. *LOL* With the current changes I did on IsulongSEOph.com.ph, I am expecting it to dissapear from the SERPs and make a comeback.

The SERPs is doing a recount/reindex/reanalyze thing again. The SERPs were already 1,020,000 and it goes back and forth to 700k+ to 800k+ to 900k+, and whenever it drops, my ranking goes up and I get back into page 1 and when the SERPs go back higher, I sometimes get pushed to the 11th position which goes back to page 2, for Isulong SEOph on Google.com.ph. But for some reason, Google.com still treats my site well and keeps me on page 1. Oh well, hopefully, when the SERPs are back up, I stay on page 1. But August and September is still a very long time. I hope everything will be still ok.

Now take a break from Isulong SEOph and go back to working again. Blog a little bit first to keep money coming in the blogs, and then go back to website projects and hosting and domains and server maintenance stuff.

I still remember the first day of the competition when the SERPs were zero for Isulong SEOph. And in two week, the SERPs were 200,000 already. Then it went back to 30,000, and it looks like Google started recounting, re-analyzing the sites, checking the linking of each site again. Then increased again.. when it was 400,000 already, it went back to 200,000. This up and down of total websites indexed seems to occur every two weeks on a rough estimate.

2 days ago, the SERPs were already 1,020,000, I remember the exact number since I sent an email to my bosses about the Isulong SEOph contest. And my site was at the 10th spot for Isulong SEOph.

The yesterday… the SERPs were 900,000+, and my site was ranked 9. Nawala lang si Noel for a few hours. Then at the end of the day, bumalik si Noel and ako din bumalik sa 10th spot for Isulong SEOph with 800,000+ in the SERPs.

Whenever this recount occurs, I also notice that the other isulong seoph website gets to enter page 2 for a brief moment. But I believe after Google gets the recount to 1 Million + again, isulong-seoph.com will drop back to page 3 as usual. This site hopefully get to climb page 1 again along with my other .ph entry.

And while Google is doing this update, hopefully is also a good time to work on solidifying my geographic location to google. Let’s see how it goes.

Ok, I’m back after missing for a while and being at on page 11. Now back at page 2 at numebr 17. Last update by Google on this site was July 29, 2006 and hasn’t grabbed passed over my Isulong SEOph site yet and reindexed it again.

My Isulong SEOPh website used to be on cPanel. Now it’s on Plesk, grrr… I love cPanel

I used to have this Isulong SEOph website with a Built-in Wordpress installer version 2.0.3. This time the server’s Built-in Wordpress installer was version 1.5, grrr… I needed to install Wordpress manually.

My old Isulong SEOph database was MySQL 4.1.19. After my server transition, I needed to go back to MySQL 3.23 grrr… I had an auto_increment problem that occured in the process of the transfer.

Free Hosting to Paid… grrr Sa Isulong SEOph, masarap lagi ang libre.

Aside from that, I got lost in the SERPs LOL. Page 11 is the highest I can find. Nyhahahahaha.
